Bengal cat is a new breed, a cross with a wild cat. They spotted or marbled coat is soft and thick, which had a large, slender muscular, long face violated curved, oval eyes and thick tail. They have a delicious, exotic look without the temperament of their wild ancestors much more savage.
Features
Bengal came from the taxonomic name of the Asian Leopard Cat (ALC), rather than the more commonly known species of Bengal tiger, whichoutside the Bengal cat breed. Brief History
According to legend, Jean Sugden Mills, circa 1982 produced a domestic cat with a feral Indian Mau. At around the same time, Greg and Elizabeth Kent started its breed Bengal Catswith the help of an Egyptian Mau. Both Mills and Mr. Kent has worked hard to promote this race, and in 1986 adopted the International Cat Association, the first written breed standard. Today, Bengal cats are the most popular breed registered cats.
